    Muscatine, IA

Is there anything I should go do or see while I am here? I'll be here all day tomorrow taking an official visit with a company but really... my onsite interview/day ends at 1:30pm

I'm going to take a shot I'm the dark and say HNI. They will probably feed you but if they don't you should go to a guy and a grill for lunch. Very good grilled food like burgers, brats, steaks, etc. if you are looking for sight seeing, there are some really cool old homes that overlook the river at the top of the hill. If you are still hungry after a guy and a grill, the taco johns there is the best I have ever had (yes it is that much better). It's a neat little river town that get bashed on way more than it deserves.

Yep, I am only doing it because they are feeding me, paying for my gas, and giving me a hotel tonight. I don't really know if I am that interested.

    Re: Muscatine, IA

I recently moved to Muscatine after graduation and have been here the past 3 months. Not exactly a tourist attraction, but it's better here than I initially thought before I moved. If you're going to be in the downtown area, there are a handful of pretty good restaurants there (Tantra Thai, Salvatores, Boonies, to name a few) that you can check out. Also Riverside Park is right on the Mississippi and is worth checking out if you haven't been in town before.

If you have any questions about HNI, feel free to PM me. I have worked there as a rotational engineer the past 3 months and have had a great experience so far. Depending on what department/position you are looking at, I might be able to give you some more insight.
