Sadly, I don't think Sam will be much of a dual threat.

Re: Tulsa coach talks Iowa State

Great. So, translation: "We want to get another BCS win and ISU seems like the next likely candidate since they are so young and desperate."

That, and the fact that our offense is designed around a running QB (so they say) and we have a QB who can't run due to injury.

Rohach better be ready, is all I can say. This has the makings of a coming out party for him.

Re: Tulsa coach talks Iowa State

Here is Tulsa's injury report, I guess I didnt know Garrett was out for the season, what a huge loss for them.

    TULSA
(!)[WR] 09/09/2013 - Keyarris Garrett out for season ( Leg )
[DB] 09/05/2013 - Marco Nelson out for season ( Academics )
[CB] 08/16/2013 - Darrell Williams out for season ( Knee )
[DT] 08/16/2013 - Jack Jewell out for season ( Academics )
[DL] 09/22/2013 - Chris Hummingbird "?" Thursday vs. Iowa State ( Leg )
[LB] 09/23/2013 - Trent Martin "?" Thursday vs. Iowa State ( Knee )

Here is our's, Coe is questionable?

    IOWA ST
    [DL] 09/22/2013 - Rodney Coe "?" Thursday vs. Tulsa ( Shoulder )
[OL] 09/23/2013 - Tom Farniok probable Thursday vs. Tulsa ( Knee )
[OL] 09/23/2013 - Ben Loth probable Thursday vs. Tulsa ( Knee )
(!)[QB] 09/22/2013 - Sam Richardson probable Thursday vs. Tulsa ( Ankle )
    [DB] 09/09/2013 - Kamari Cotton-Moya out indefinitely ( Achilles )

Tulsa lost all 4 starters on the defensive line from last year and 3 from the offensive line. 3 starters lost in the secondary from last year and the only returning starter is likely to miss the game tomorrow. So if we cant score on this team or move the ball, its time to throw in the towel.

Only returning starters are 2 linebackers, 2 offensive lineman, quarterback, hb and receiver.

We will probably make their defense look like the '85 Bears.

    Thats all I got.

“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...”

Looked like a really nasty leg break during the Co State game. Looked REALLY painful. Belitnikoff award nominee. Always hate to see studs go down with injury. I was glad for him/Tulsa that they came back and pulled out the W. Crazy finish to that game.

We could have Calvin Johnson as wide receiver and it wouldn't matter with Cody Green as our qb. But in all seriousness we are getting back one of our best route runners Thomas Roberson for this game, it probably won't matter though because Cody Green will hit him in the feet.

I could probably copy past this with different names and many posters here would tell you the same thing about ISU

You forgot the most important piece of coach-speak...always have to include that
