    Yeah, this made me laugh. Where is all the star huggers?
    As a fan, getting a guy like this and him being a total flop would be worse than getting a guy with a low ceiling.

    If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

    Reading the KU boards, and they have retained a decent amount of their JUCOs... but had a couple of them that got into some trouble with NCAA(possibly grades and ineligible?) and I see they had another lost to injury. Decent amount in the 2 deeps though.

    I think KU is improved on defense a bit, but seems to be business as usual on offense....especially playing against some bad teams. Lose a few more of those JUCOs heading into next year and it will certainly take it toll on depth, unless CW brings in another batch.

    On paper it seems that KU much like ISU is going to need to improve as the season wears on, or it will be indeed a lost year.
