Saban strikes me as the type of person who gets bored easily. As strange as it sounds, winning a championship every year at Alabama would get boring for him.

I wouldn't mind getting bored once or twice.

Saban will be the next head coach of Nebraska. Mark it down.

    Re: Chips are falling

The fact that its even a possibility that Alabama could lose their coach to another college team is crazy to me. Alabama is the biggest dynasty that I can remember right now. Not saying it won't happen (I think it might), but its just crazy.

Now, Mack leaving Texas - that I can see. Involuntarily, of course.
I absolutely believe it. If you are Texas, you have to go after #1. And to me, they have the resources to go BIG! If I were them, offer 10 million and offer a raise to every assistant they have. Think about this, Saban would have access to all Texas talent plus all the SEC talent he has always had. Top notch facilities and anything else he would want. He could make a dynasty there that would be leagues ahead of what Alabama is if he wants to.
But having something great now, who knows if he would leave that.

Probably not a popular thought on this board, but reality.
Unless you're Texas or OU. They'd get SEC type respect if it came down to it. No one else in our conference would, but those 2 schools would.

If he goes to Texas, they could become the best program in recent college football history. Imagine if they completely bowled in both endzones, they could seat 120,000-130,000.

If Nick Saban walked into Belmont Hall today, I'd pick Texas to win the Big 12 and not lose a conference game.

Makes total sense. He bailed on LSU after a damn national title. They have all the ability to be a dynasty that Alabama does. He bolted on the NFL when he wasn't even on the hot seat either.

I think the guy just enjoys a change of scenery and something new.

You think Tom Brady ever gets tired of banging Giselle? I bet he does.
