You dropped a "dude" and a "bruh" in the first couple sentences. That's pretty much 3 and out. We'll see if you get it going here.

You guys mentioned the onside and how close it was. If we score instead of throwing that pick to Lowery, then everything is completely different too. The game wasn't really close but there was opportunity there in a couple different ways.

Hopefully we do better than the Cyclones did the rest of the way...

Every team has injuries this is a poor excuse IMO. Good Coordinators and Head Coach's figure out what your team can and cannot do given those limitations from injuries. Wally and Paul Rhoads (being a previous DC himself) do a phemonomal job at this on the defensive side. The offensive side however, I don't see it.

Hope you're not 100% set on watching Kansas State-Texas up in Minneapolis. It's a split national with UConn-Michigan, and I wouldn't be surprised if they want to show the Big 10 game up in Minneapolis.

There is no reverse mirror for the game that doesn't make it on local ABC, and the only other way to watch it would be if the place you're at subscribes to GamePlan which not a lot do.

You should know by mid-week when coverage maps come out.

Re: Williams/Blum Podcast: Where do the Cyclones go from here?

CW I am interested in see why you still think ISU will win against Tulsa let alone anyone. When your offensive line get stopped, twice I might add, on 3rd and goal against an undersized FCS D-line you will not be scoring much this season.

The comment is always being made that CPR has more talent now than he did when he inherited the program. Why is ISU 0-2 when CPR arguably had less talent. Does ISU have worse coaching now? Is ISU less talented now then than 5 years ago?

Personally, I believe ISU has more talent now than it did 5 years. Tom Herman didn't have much talent to work with but he figured out a way to make it work. There is a reason he was hired at OSU. Mess inherited, imo, more talent and has done less with it.

Re: Williams/Blum Podcast: Where do the Cyclones go from here?

good podcast guys. As you know, I have been on Mess as much as anyone, and I blasted him pretty hard on the plays to start the game. Really, maybe I am just stupid, but after casually watching parts of the two Iowa games, there is no way that I would come to the conclusion that running right at Iowa was the way to start the game. For that matter, running right at them never looked to be the right answer. Throwing WR screens never looked the answer either. Again, maybe I am missing something, but for someone that had two weeks to figure out how to attack the Iowa defense, that looked pretty sad. I was hoping that ISU would make them defend the part of the field ten or more yards from the LOS. As it was, the Hawks barely had to move to stop ISU.

It is completely understandable that the OL is in bad shape, and that Sam is hurting. Figuring out how to move the ball despite this is the coaches job.
