Grant Rohach was going in Saturday...

The first touchdown drive would have been Richardson's final series had we not scored per Rhoads on the call in show. Rhoads spoke highly of Rohach tonight and said his injuries have been the only thing holding him back. This move would have been due to Sam's ankle, but he gave confidence in that he said Grant is ready to go in case of injury.

Hoping SR gets some needed rest for the ankle. Would love to see where Rohach is in his development. Word is that he has a hell of an arm.

Good because you can't throw an injured QB out there. It's like leaving a bleeding swimmer in the water with a bunch of sharks around.

Not sure what to think of this honestly. I think the fact that we have had a QB carousel the last two years has made it hard for our offense to be in sync. At the same time, I'm all for giving the guy a shot if he's truly a better option than an injured SR. Still, I would much rather have one guy out there leading the team.

Was Sam's injury worse than Grant's? A QB change wasn't a necessity like in years past but it couldn't have hurt.

He has had a hamstring issue and a bad finger but those were early in camp, he was taking all the reps in the first week of the bye.

Rhoads integrated though that it was related to Sam's injury and not performance.

SR was banged up before last game so its not a big surprise Rhoads said that.

Not gonna matter if it's the same play calling as Saturday.

No kidding, just like pulling our starting QB in the last two bowl games is another sign of concern.

Who said anything about rotating QBs? SR has an injury that obviously hasn't healed much in the past 2 weeks. Re-tweaking an ankle usually isn't a good sign that any meaningful healing has taken place. SR 'probably' needs rest time, but my guess is that he'll be pushed until his ankle becomes a lingering issue. Hope I'm wrong. Therefore, I don't see a better opportunity to see what Rohach is made of.

Doesn't matter when you're throwing the ball east and west.
