Will Lazard stay committed after this year?

I honestly think we win 1 game this year, maybe 2 (Tulsa, Kansas, West Virginia pick 2 of 3). How will this impact Lazard's commitment? You gotta think no 4 star player with tons of offers would want to head to a school that just went 1-11 the season before you get on campus.

This year could really knock us back to Chizik type years. The best recruiting class ever by Rhoads could quickly become another below medicore recruiting class if he only manages to win a few games.

    Sorry for complaining

He for the most part has been a solid commit and I believe that will stay the same. Probably the only way it won't is if Rhoads leaves.

    I think there's a 97% chance he stays.

Re: Will Lazard stay committed after this year?

No. He's already gone. In fact, all of our previous verbals have all de-committed. Pollard's getting ready to announce the shutting down of the football program and will be introducing that we are adding men's soccer, volleyball, water polo and women's lacrosse, equestrian and bowling.

How about instead of starting a stupid thread, just resist the urge to post at all?

Re: Will Lazard stay committed after this year?

Not being stupid, but come on lets think about it. Lazard has recruited quite a few players to Iowa State especially Mister. If these guys that committed to Iowa State decide to jump ship what is keeping Lazard faithful? I know he is die hard cyclone but come on, if I'm a 4 star wide receiver watching this offense with this coordinator why in the hell would you want to come here?

One of the more highly touted receivers in the country wants to come play for a team that will likely average 14 points a game with a OC who couldn't read a high school defense and make adjustments. Just saying

The OP is not being stupid. Stuff like this happens, especially to ISU.

Honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't decommitted already and I'm not even kidding. I see very little chance of him wearing a Cyclone uniform.

If Lazard decommits then the coaches get a free pass next year. It's all part of a big plan.

I didn't say the OP is being stupid. I said it's a stupid thread.

Now you, you are being stupid.

    Yes. /Thread

Remember, you're unique. Just like everyone else.

Until further notice, the Big 12 tournament is best. There's an experience here. Not just the teams -- the feel, the vibe, the establishments. Iowa State not only won the pregame -- filling the nearby Power & Light District -- it won the whole damn scene.

Remember that one time he said the only way he wouldn't come to ISU is if Rhoads wasn't here? Why not start a thread "Will CPR be our coach next year?"

If ISU goes 3-9 or worse this year will that have a impact on your decision to go to ISU?
    No
