    Moving forward to Tulsa

Tulsa is another very beatable team, if the offense can generate some points. So, what happens if Sam is still hobbled a week from Thursday? Do you revamp the offense to handle his inability to run or do you put in GR so you can run the zone read stuff?

Can any of our RBs throw that ball when needed?

I don't believe we will win this one. More of the same.

If it was me I would just not run the zone read and instead use straight hand offs and packaged plays. With our current offensive situation who knows what will happen.

I've given up hope that our offense can score enough to win a game.

Won't believe again until Mess is gone.

I HATE these early season byes. It makes these bad losses even worse. Schedule should never be this way.

As far as Tulsa, I think we can win, but ugh, I'm not counting on it.

Unless he really screwed up his ankle bad he should be back to 100% in two weeks. But then again, I remember how Steele never recovered from his ankle injury in the UCONN game.

Somehow, we need Cody Green to remember that he's Cody Green. That would offer up a little help.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

I think we've been overlooking this - the schedule set-up this year is unbelievably terrible.

Tulsa has averaged 120 yards a game at 3.2 yards/carry. And 215 of their 361 total rushing yards were against a really bad Colorado State defense. Against Bowling green they had 51 yards on 21 carries and against Oklahoma they had 95 yards on 31 carries.

We should be able to limit them on the ground pretty handily. I trust in Wally on that. They'll get some yardage and some first downs but they won't be getting 6-8 yards on every play like Weisman was.

Weisman averaged 4yds, I don't know what he averaged in the first half but his numbers went down in the second half. Usually a bruiser increases his yds/carry late in the game. I'll take that as a positive. Stick with these guys, they may improve all year. If not I will definitely be on board with the Mess must go crowd.

    Gonna be a barn burner.

Seriously, if I'm Rhoads, I'm going to an all out aerial assault until I have LBers dropping 10 yards. Then, and only then, will I run a bunch of inside and outside zone stuff until the game is either over or it is still ineffective.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.
