A positive to this ugly start of the season.

Alright guys, I havent been able to catch any of the first two games, but looking back through stats and scoring are we finally able to consistantly make big plays on offense? 2 plays of 50+ for TD's is something I dont ever recall with the past few seasons. I know in general we have sucked, but it amazes me at the big plays we have been able to hook up on. Thoughts? Or am I crazy?

The positive is you haven't had to watch either of those first two games.

You're crazy. It's been awful to watch and I didn't think the offense could be worse than last year's, but it is.

The only way this offense could be worse is if we had to resort to playing Waye Terry.

The only positive is that if we havent hit rock bottom we are getting close. Then its all up from there.

After UNI I was ****** all week. It's only been 12 hours since the Iowa game and I frankly don't care. It's really a 180 from a few weeks ago. That's a bad sign. I've given up.

    One Way. Forward.

They were foreshadowing with that slogan.

Same here. I've come to the realization that there will be no bowl game and we'll be lucky to even compete in conference games. This will be a lost season.

Re: A positive to this ugly start of the season.

Is really hard to tell how bad things are at the moment, but clearly we are on target to tie for the worst season ever. The real question is how bad are UNI and Iowa? If Texas beats us by 30 or more we know the answer. Tulsa looks like it will be a close game.

So you are saying the big plays we have made so far are just more of luck?

The positive is we have the receivers and the quarterback to make those plays. The negative is our O-line has been poor and our OC has rarely put our skill guys in positions to be successful.

Re: A positive to this ugly start of the season.

It's been so bad that I've already given up on this team. I'll show up to the games, but you won't see me cheering my *** off until something changes. And by something, I obviously mean that Mess needs to be canned.

I think this is how most season ticket holders are feeling at this point.

The positive is I won't be forced to make a decision to attend a bowl game in Biloxi vs. going somewhere fun and neat!
