    Knott and Irving

Luke Knott is going to be a stud.

Hopefully the lightbulb has finally turned on for Irving. Has had a great game so far.

    Re: Knott and Irving

I agree. Some definite positives from our defense with our offense DOA. David has had some really big plays.

Agree. Hopefully PR has seen enough of this offense to make a change. It's just not fair to the guys playing D. Maybe the Burnhams go in and say enough is enough. Both David and Luke were outstanding tonight.

    Re: Knott and Irving

I thought both of those men were outstanding, but Burnham can't go in and say "enough is enough," our defense gave up 1 less point than Missouri State.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Re: Knott and Irving

Burnham can say we would not have given up 27 points had they not had to defend 80+ plays. that's crazy against a slow team like Iowa vs. a Baylor or OSU. that's a d that isn't giving up the big play but grinded down and not getting rest.

There's some bright spots and some serious talent coming next year. If CPR addresses the offense I'm still excited about next year.

TOP was 38-22 in favor of Iowa and that has been a recurring theme for going on 5 years. Enough is enough.
