    My favorite quote was from when he was asked about "trophies" -- if they're overrated -- (paraphrasing)

    "No; trophies mean victory. And victory, my friend, is not overrated."
    "But what about the trophy itself? Does a victory without a trophy feel like something less?"
    "Oh no. I could be playing for a lollipop and I'd still be excited."
