    Richardson jumping on Lalk?

Anyone else notice this during the game Saturday? It was a few plays after Lalk moved over to center. I believe a delay of game was called and Richardson jumped on Lalk's *** BIG time. I really enjoyed seeing this. I like having a QB who isn't afraid to chew someones *** when needed.

Yeah, I saw that. Just looked like he wanted to make the point clearly and in a hurry...

I'm glad someone isn't afraid to raise his voice and be a leader.

I noticed and liked it as well. People comment that Sam is a quite guy and he is only a sophomore so there is concerns that he won't "get on someone" when they make a mistake. I think those concerns can be put to rest.

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

Being able to yell at someone doesn't make you a "leader."

But getting on someone after they make a mistake and keeping them accountable isn't?

    It did in that context.

Washington was chewing some *** on defense as well. Everyone was frustrated on Saturday. Those players didn't think they would come out like that. Hopefully, they got everything out in the open and came back to work today ready to get better.

He wanted the snap and Lalk never did snap it, so Sam had to burn a timeout and let Lalk know that he should have snapped it.

Chewing *** is easy. Anybody can do it. It's not something I've ever watched a game and thought that I hope the coaches, players, etc. are doing. If it helps people in their leadership style and others react well to it then it's fine, but the notion that anyone who does it is a leader is outrageous.

I would assume there is a little frustration from running for his life half the time and getting hit more than a few times that cause such explosion.

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

I'm sure there is and it's not necessarily bad he chewed out Lalk, but it's not a necessary good either. Drew Tate spent a lot of time at Iowa chewing out his line too. I'm not sure that ever helped him.

    Re: Richardson jumping on Lalk?

I think it is much more effective when someone who is quiet does it like Sam did. Washington and Broomfield were all over Miller. I really feel bad for that kid because he is getting blown up in film sessions this week.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

You also thought Steele was the greatest human being of all time. I didn't see him chew a lot of ***?

I agree with this, and it's not my leadership style at work. However, it can be a very effective leadership style in sports especially football. Because, usually after getting yelled at, one gets ****** off. Now, at work, that anger can sometimes become not productive. But on the football field, there is someone lined up against you to take out your anger on.
