    Official Fantasy Football Thread

I think we should have a season long thread for fantasy football questions. I had an auction draft Saturday night, not a fan of that format, league manager has no clue what he's doing (but thinks he know it all) and it takes forever but I think I got a decent team out of it.

    PPR; QB, RB-2, WR-2, Flex, TE, D , K

    My team is :
    Newton
    RG3
    Reggie Bush
    Chris Johnson
    Alfred Morris
    Mcfadden
    Vareen
    Woodhead
    Fitzgerald
    J. Nelson
    Cecil Shorts
    Tavon Austin
    Sudfield
    Packers
    Gould

    Thoughts?

Pretty solid team. I had my draft last night and its old school they only go by yards for points. So my question is out of my receivers: Jordy Nelson, Hakeem Nicks, Vernon Davis, Brian Hartline, Kenbrell Thompkins, and Kenny Stills. Which 3 stand best chance? Jordy and Nicks for sure.

and then IDK. I do not trust Vernon Davis with CK as the quarterback. I had him on my team last year, and he was worthless down the stretch after the switch.

To the OP, unless they can force a ton of turnovers the Packers D is going to be awful. I say this as a Pack fan, who was incredibly disappointed to not get Eddie Lacy, but they will not be good at stopping ANYBODY this year. I envision a couple games where they probably score you negative points.

Kind of a rough WR corps, but I'd say Hartline as the WR3.

I'm hoping Sudfield can produce, I picked him up later in a couple of drafts.

For a 16-team draft your WRs are insane. Especially with Gordon in your pocket as well. Nice work. I assume you'll start Cam in place of Vick? I know the matchup isn't great but Vick is pretty sketch.

Dude I know... I am stacked at WR. This is a TD heavy league and I was going bananas.

But I actually think I am starting Vick. Taking the risk there.

I have either Cam Newton or Big Ben this weekend. Any opinions?

Big Ben has no run game, and Seattle's pass rush is a mess right now. Take Cam Newton and enjoy his two passing tds and one rushing td.

I've never done a 10-team league, so no real clue how this measures up. Looks fantastic but I assume with just 10 teams everyone's pretty stacked.

    10 team PPR league

    QB Drew Brees
    WR Dez Bryant
    WR Dwayne Bowe
RB Darren Sproles (we also get points for K/PT returns so this guy's a goldmine)
    RB Chris Johnson
    W/R Eric Decker
    TE Zach Sudfeld
    K Justin Tucker
    D NY Giants

    BN QB Matthew Stafford
    BN RB Ahmad Bradshaw
    BN RB Joique Bell
    BN RB Le'Veon Bell
    BN WR Josh Gordon
BN TE Fred Davis (thought about picking up Jared Cook out of the boneyard but he just got snagged)

I like my starters and the bench has potential possibly

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
