    I hope Grant Rohach is ready

    Because Sam isn't going to make it to the end of the season without an injury. Not behind that offensive line. Not running the ball as much as he does.

    Has there been any news on GR this fall? Anyone know if he will be ready when he has to enter the game?

    If Mess is in control, we won't have any QB's left. All of them will be hurt. Insane for SR to be running the ball and getting hit that much. What he is doing is not sustainable.

    Really sad. We have a solid QB for the first time in years and we have to have the backup ready because be may not make it through the season because of poor play calling and an offensive coordinator that would put him in position to take bad hits.

    I really agree with the sentiment on Mess. He really needs to go.

    It is just embarrassing that we supposedly have an awesome stable of 5 or 6 RBs and our QB has nearly more carries than all of our RBs COMBINED. That is no way to run an offense at all.

    This game could hardly have been any worse than it was. I thought the Liberty Bowl was about as bad as it gets, until last night that is. Sam is going to end up in the hospital at this rate very quick. It's sad to see. I'm not sure how Mess kept his job, and now it might be too late to do anything about it this year. Could you can Mess and somehow let Klenakis take over after one game. I doubt it. But Klenakis is supposed to know how to run the pistol offense supposedly?

    Doesn't take any great degree of readiness to run a flat offense, that will probably be losing by 40 anyway because we can't tackle.

    Klenakis was the OC at Nevada during the Pistol heyday. I don't know if he called plays or Ault did but K should be moved to OC. Mess has shown 14 games now that he can't play call.

    WHAT?! You mean you weren't caught off guard with the 1st and goal - put woody in - run it up the middle on first and second and then pass on 3rd? We only did it the EXACT same way twice!

    For all the hype around the RB depth, I was left unimpressed. They rotated a lot but overall it was average at best. Sam was the best running option and he can't keep that up without getting injured in the Big 12.
