Interesting. Still worried about him getting hurt, but hopefully it pays off.

It's just a gamble the staff is hoping will pay off. Me too.

When was the last time we had a returner get hurt on a kick return?

What was scary was when Horne was returning punts when he couldn't catch a thing.

I'm not so concerned about kick off returns as I would be punt returns and injury.

I think it's also a reflection of how much more depth we have at the receiver position. The world won't end if Bundrage should be injured.

Its really not unusual to have your best WR returning punts. Put the ball in your playmaker's hands as much as possible.

i would rather have a faster/shifty type player out there. oh well, maybe we are going back to the days when we just had Todd Blythe fair catch everything.

Have you seen him carry the ball?

Re: BLOG: Why Quenton Bundrage was named a starter at kick return

When it comes to kick returns, I'd rather have a north-south one-cut and go type of returner like Bundrage than a guy who dances around waiting for a hole to appear.

Because you know more about this team than the coaching staff.

Do you have any idea how fast Bundrage is? I swear to good if ISU get's someone over 5'10 they have to be slow because we evidently can't get someone who is tall and fast.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.
