Bristol Sprint Cup Night Race - travel from Asheville

We are staying in Asheville tonight and headed to the Sprint Cup race tomorrow. For those that have been - what time should we leave in order to get there in time?

Also looking for parking location recommendations. We have our in-laws with us and walking is ok - so long as it's not increadinly far.

Never been there, but I would assume several hours ahead of time.

Getting in not bad 3 hours prior to race will do, depends on what pre-race activities you plan on doing. Park along main road, the extra walk is worth the time savings on the way out. Otherwise there is tons of free parking around track in fields, follow the signs. I'm not going to make it this year due to having company but by far a great experience, paid $75 for a ticket last year start/finish at the very too!

    Have a great time J!

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

went to Dega last year, got there at about 10:30 for a 12:30 start.......it was raining though, so I can't remember if that actually delayed the start due to track drying. Either way, we had plenty of time.

    Bristol night race, I'm jealous!!
