    WiFi on International Flights???

So it turns out I'll be flying from Seattle to Amsterdam for work on 8/31. For those that have used wifi in airplanes before (I'm flying Delta), is the bandwidth good enough to stream the Cyclones.tv video, or will I have to go with the radio feed instead? Thankfully I'm returning on 9/7, which is a bye week.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

    Re: WiFi on International Flights???

I have used it on delta, I bet it would work for audio but not video. They may block streaming video also.

Plus I am not sure wifi works when not over the US. I was on a trip to Alaska last week, and they announced the wifi would only work over the US.

I believe Delta WiFi (Go Go) only works on domestic flights.

They do block most video streaming.

I just checked and your flight (assuming it's 232) does not have Wifi.

    Re: WiFi on International Flights???

I actually doubt it has wifi unless it is a new plane (less than 2-3 years). UAL, AAL and DAL have not done a whole lot of retrofitting of their fleets in the last 5-7 years.

A good site to use when checking amenities and seat configurations is seatguru.com

No streaming in air. Some do but most don't have wifi overseas.

    Re: WiFi on International Flights???

Delta uses domestic cell towers for their in flight wifi so no coverage is available on international flights. I have streamed cyclones.tv before using gogo with no issues though for any domestic legs.

I fly delta a lot, in fact just got home from Amsterdam yesterday. I can confirm that there is no WiFi on international flights. However, if it is any consolation, their newer audio/video system has 60 plus movies to choose from.

I'm one of those weirdos who's never done pot (or smoked cigarettes, though I've smoked cigars). I don't plan to start while I'm on a business trip...
