Lol, are you high?!?! Packers were 5-2 and were ahead in the division when Rodgers went down. Let's say Rodgers doesn't get hurt and the Packers go a respectable 6-3 the last 9 games instead of 3-5-1. They would have ran away with the division at 11-5, but still won it after the crappy lions can't finish games based on their poor execution and poor play calling from their ex-coach. Now, if you were saying lions should have reaped benefits from Packers late crappy play and falling behind in the division, then maybe that's believable. But that's not a different "what if" than my Rodgers not going down in the first place scenario.

Not high, Detroit has the talent to do so. GB may have been closer than I admitted in my previous post - but Detroit still should have won the north.

Detroit has the most talent but Green Bay has the best QB and coaching.

Keeping with the shoulda, coulda, woulda, theme....The lions should've beaten a middling Ravens, and a dead in the water Giants team to seal it....but in Lions fashion, they can't keep it together long enough to do so...

Exactly. They also were handling Philly in the snow until they let McCoy run all over them in the 2nd half.

Also let Tampa come into Detroit and completely steal one.
Lions should have finished 12-4 but we obviously decided drafting 10th would be a lot more fun.

Yep, that's why all the preseason prognosticators picked Green Bay or Chicago to win the division.

Exactly. If Aaron Rodgers is on the Packers, you keep them atop the North year in and year out. Detroit just doesn't have the focus or coaching. The talent is there, but wow, they don't show up sometimes.

Will sit here and wait for Bears, Vikings, Lions and Packers fans to agree on something.

Which is why the Lions will have a new coaching staff next season. But, considering the Ford family, it will probably be new guy same as the last guy repeated all the way back to the 1950s.

At first I thought that'd be tough, but we can all agree that AP is the best running back in the division.
