No and none of the games were close, but it should be said that none of the games were against decent competition either.

Yep, they completely dominated every game. The competition was VERY poor though.

You'd have to be a very poor team to lose on a trip overseas...those things are set up to win easily.

Not necessarily. You can find good teams to play. ISU didn't, though.

and reading between the lines of MBB program interviews last summer, they lamented not scheduling good enough games.

    Re: ISU Italy Trip

as Cyclone fans, we could laugh at Iowa losing overseas games. But losses this summer will probably do them more good than blowout wins come this winter.

Temple and Alabama are playing in the same area as Iowa, not sure if they are playing the exact same teams, and they both loss badly last week. I believe Kansas lost at least one game on their European tour last summer as well.

Yeah, KU won two games against the Swiss National team, and then lost a couple games to a pro team in France that featured Washington Wizards player Kevin Seraphin.

Ok. I just assumed that everyone played the same "type" of team overseas. I know there are different levels of pros over in Europe.

Was Pierce the star of the game? If not, he was certainly the side show.
