    subscription to scout

Just got an email offering a year of access to Scout.com for $9.95. Anyone know what the usual price is? Also, is it worth it?

My general rule of thumb is that if I get an e-mail telling me to buy something....it's not worth it.

Do they even have an ISU reporter anymore?

Kind of leaning that way myself. Thanks for the confirmation.

    Re: subscription to scout

although useless for direct ISU news...it may be useful to read articles on players we are recruiting and where they stand with other teams...its 10 bucks so not a big investment

    Re: subscription to scout

I got the email too. I immediately thought what in the world could they possibly charge for since they don't seem to even cover ISU.

I've found all u need to do is pay for cyclones.tv.

Doesn't the same news show up here about the same time?

I can't imagine paying them for something CW does better.

    Re: subscription to scout

There's a reason Scout is giving away memberships essentially...and it's because it sucks.

Not really. CW can only do so much. With a Scout or Rivals subscription, you get recruiting articles from everyone of their sites.

Give me your ten bucks and I will use it as kindling in my fire pit. That would be a better use of your money.
