Just to get it straight about warren buffett, (since several previous posts had it incorrect), he attended Penn for 2 years, then came back to UNL for one year and got his undergraduate degree. Then headed off to Columbia for grad school. Not sure one year in Lincoln was enough to make him commented to being a die hard busker and willing to donate millions of dollars to the AD.

It's enough that he should be ashamed of himself.

I wonder if Quaker Football has hit him up?

Descendants of John Garang, the assassinated leader of South Sudan who led the civil war for the rights of those in the south of Sudan. He sent the children of his fellow leaders to Iowa State because that is where he got his graduate education. You don't start a new country without having some deep pockets.

In addition to Jack Trice, we can have the first stadium with a section named for an African warlord (in the best sense of the word).

Might be a bit too much to put on the facade of the end zone.

The idea of using student fees is not bad. Most of Hilton was paid for by bonds that were secured on the basis of student fees, and ISU had a lot fewer students back then.

With the ever sky rocketing tuition costs, its a bit more a volatile situation increasing student fees for athletic department funding.

    Also might have been me.

I can verify that if you can confirm that you also saw my GF in the car. Her pic is below.

I don't know everybody says how ISU is such a graveyard for coaches. I'm thinking we should pass the hat to the Jimmy Johnsons, Pete Carolls, Glenn "POP" Warner, Chizik, Johnny Majors, and other assistant coaches who made it big time. Get them to run a SEZ fund campain. We can have all of their busts on/in the SEZ project and call it the GRAVEYARD!!!!

With the twist being the GraveYard is a bar with these coaches sitting around the bar wearing their ISU Jersey on the front and how successful they were with their current team on the back. Just a thought

I just think we are screwed unless we sell the rights to Dupont, John Deere, or to Alabama. :)

Agreed. That's a mouthful- or bannerful. How about 'IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY -- AHF'?
