    Quick Rundown

I have been busy this summer and have apparently missed a lot. Quick run down on how the team is looking and suprise players from fall workouts so far. Sorry if this has been discussed, but like I said I have not had a lot of time to jump on here and read articles. Thanks in advance.

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

    Re: Quick Rundown

Defense: Irving moved inside due to a good showing from the defensive ends and some minor injuries to the defensive tackles. Charles Rogers will be the nickel back this year. Luke Knott is expected to contribute and split time with Jevohn Miller. Defense is supposed to be our fastest and most athletic yet.

Offense: We are supposed to be in the best shape at quarterback we have been under Rhoads. Wimberely has spent some time in the slot. Receivers are athletic and appear to be productive in practice videos.

That's a quick rundown of stuff that's been major.

Heard that before, but I feel Sam has what it takes. Thank you. Looking forward to 8/31! This is the most I have felt out of ISU football since before HS. Damn adult life.

Watson to start at one BD spot, with Richardson, Lynn and Rogers fighting for the other spot. Wimberly may or may not play slot WR. Would make sense with all the depth at RB. Oh yeah, have you heard we will be running the pistol formation?

If anyone can add to how Jevohn Miller is progressing that would be great.

I don't think you will have to worry about that...It sounds like Seneca Wallace is going to win the starting job.

I haven't heard much from him which isn't usually positive. A lot more positive talk about Luke Knott behind him but who knows

    Re: Quick Rundown

In the preseason, I always read the articles the same:

Iowa State football should win 8-10 games. Not sure what the rest of you have been reading but that is all I get out of every article I read.

Pumped for another season! Should be exciting.
