Time to stop dreaming of the SEZ

Because it will get here as soon as the money is available.

Time to start dreaming of the NEZ!!!!! What does everyone think will be best to do with the North end zone to increase attendance and improve the game day atmosphere?

Nothing is the best option. Unless they want to spend a bunch of money getting rid of the Jacobsen Building.

I thought we determined a long time ago that the wind was too strong in the NEZ.

Re: Time to stop dreaming of the SEZ

Someone did a mock up of the NEZ that had double decker seating in place of the hills. Looked kind of cool. I will leave that up to someone else to find.

I really have no problem with the Jacobsen Building. I would be surprised if they ever do a lot to the NEZ. Regardless, SEZ comes first and press box second.

Re: Time to stop dreaming of the SEZ

If the lower deck and the top deck SEZ combined to bring the total capacity to 65,000, add some suites in between the decks, expand the press box ... move the Students to the new end zone... join all that with the jumbotron and we'd have one of the best stadiums in college football. JTS already way out does itself in stadium atmosphere considering its small size.

Me neither, this has never bothered me.

Once the SEZ is done, the north hillsides will continue to provide a nice option for those looking for cheap tickets.

Re: Time to stop dreaming of the SEZ

I fully expect a SEZ announcement by the end of the year. Although the press box is needed fans will not be nearly as excited about that and they need to capitalize off of this excitement.

I could see them bundling the press box in with SEZ plans. Do it all in one shot.

Wouldn't the SEZ need approval from the BOR before anything would be announced?

Probably, but there's nothing the AD would do that wouldn't be approved by them. It's all our money and JP already has said he won't do it if the debt burdens us.
