I would agree here. I remember that I was listening on the radio.

I got beat to it. Watched it with about 10 rabid fans in our apartment. Good times.

Not a game but a favorite moment:

As i recall, Bill Fennelly had called a timeout to do some verbal chewing out of Megan Taylor. While taking the lashing she just reached up and straightened his tie. Bill immediately stopped talking, got a slight smile on his face, and turned around! Megan might have been the only one who could have gotten away with that! A priceless moment!

I have to go with the ISU/UCONN game. That was a huge, unexpected step for the program. Put ISU WBB on the map for real.

The only thing bad about that (and the 99/00 men's team was that was when ISU still had the blue in the uniforms. Never did understand that.

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

Tracy Gahan hitting 25 points against Okie back in 2002 and almost getting a double-double. I believe that is when I really started being a fan of the WWB game. Watching that Texan become one of Iowa State greats really was special.

The 2000 Big 12 tournament in KC when we blew out Texas for the championship. They had 400 fans and we had over 10,000. The Longhorns we awe-struck.

I would also add the whole week in big 12 tourney in okc few years back. Beat KSU, Nebraska in a epic ot game where Medders buried a long 3 to force ot, beating a&M and despite playing in a OU dominated arena gave OU the best we had in defeat. I was there and was an amazing week.

The Texas game a either 2 or 3 years back. I can't remember the year but Hilton was rocking for that game and it was a lot of fun to be at!
