What Non-Conference Schools Would You Like to See on the Schedule?

Seeing a couple more name schools on the noncon schedule got me thinking: Who would you want ISU to schedule in the future? My top 2 would be Creighton and Minnesota, home and home series would provide driveable road games and would be good games IMO. I think Illinois would be another good one to gain more attention in the Chicago recruiting grounds. What are your thoughts/opinions?

I like your picks. Illinois would be my top choice out of your selections, I think some type of border war with the Fighting Illini would be very intriguing, the teams seem pretty evenly matched as well. Obviously though, we get the border war thing with Minny and Creighton as well (and I'd love to see ISU stick it to McDermott).

My personal choices would be Colorado State and Ohio State. Colorado State because while a decent basketball school, also are close-ish to ISU campus and coached by Eustachy. Would love to see LE pacing the sidelines in Hilton again, even if it were for the opposing team. Ohio State simply for revenge purposes (and only if Aaron Craft was still on the team).

I'd like to see us put up 80 on Wisconsin and with the high school talent in the state combined with their current coaching transition, I'd love to dominate Minnesota as well. We recruit both of those states a lot and would love for recruits to see the advantages of playing for ISU.

Minnesota would be a dream come true for me if we ever got a semi-regular home-and-home. I'd also like to see our weird cold war recruiting rivalry with Marquette turn into an actual game.

Nebraska or Creighton (just so I can travel a short distance to see the good guys play). Otherwise I'd go with St. Louis, Ohio State, ....for ****s and giggles, let's throw Florida Gulf Coast in there.

Home and homes with Minnesota and Wisconsin should be the top of everyone's list. However, Minnesota would be dumb to do that with how hard we are recruiting up there.

That's the thing. The games I'd love to see the most are some of the least likely to happen.
