    Looking ahead to 9/14

It's going to be a long day if we arrive at JT when the lots open at 7 am. I foresee myself getting to the point that I would rather watch the game on TV. Is there anyone that is planning to have the game on TV that would let me watch with them?

    Re: Looking ahead to 9/14

Hopefully it isn't a hot day like it was in 2011.

The thing about home games is that it prevents me from watching other games.

Like UNI vs ISU happens to be at the same time as TCU vs LSU. As a fan of college football, this makes me sad.

Are you saying you have tickets to the game and you'd rather stay out of the Jack and just watch on TV? I hope the rest of our ticket holders don't have this attitude.

You can watch at my place if I can have your tickets

Im just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard, Eustachy joked. If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, hell be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.

Has something been announced regarding the lots opening early? They should open at 11am for a 5pm game.

Lots open at 7 A.M. or 6 hours before kickoff, whichever is earlier. It's that way for all games.

True for the donor lots. Public lots open 6 hours before kickoff. Expect them to open them a little early to avoid traffic problems.

You can fix a lot of this with a tv/sat setup in the lots. Obviously not the games at the same time as ours, but a setup like this will have you set

Alarson - That is the setup that I have. Mine is a Minimax, but pretty much the same thing.

Goothrey - you can pick them up on craigslist pretty cheap. Mine was brand new and was only $350 which is about 1/2 to 1/3 of the price.

Had not seen them on Craigslist before. Have been contemplating picking one up.

    Re: Looking ahead to 9/14

I have found a few on there. Just make sure you research what you are buying. I looked and there were like 3 or 4 Vuqubes on there, so I did research and found out they don't pick up some satellites, and the ones I needed for Directv, 110 and 119, it didn't get.

Just keep an eye out for them. I recommend a Winegard myself.

Yeah, what the heck?? I can't fathom deciding, "eh, I'm worn out, I'll just watch it on t.v."
