Music to Listen to at Work

I have a mindless data entry project I have to get done today and there's no way I get through this without some music. The dilema I'm having is that the type of music I normally listen to (rap and hard rock) really doesn't go to well with my office setting.

What's everyone else listening to at work today? I'm in need of something mellow enough I don't offend the 45 year old mother of two that works next to me, but good enough I can keep interest in my project.

You must have misread my post. I'm not trying to lure her in to my office.

    Van Morrison

I used to be cool. Now... I secretly listen to Abba in my car.

See, I've never seen anyone else here use headphones. Plus I don't have any at the office.

I usually rock the sublime at work. The music is so mellow no one at work even cares to pay attention to the words they are actually saying.

I am currently listening to some Irish folk-style music like Gaelic Storm and Scythian at work and none of my co-workers seem too upset, but it may want to make you go out and drink a few stouts at lunch.

Is there a reason you can't use headphones?

Maybe not your taste in music, but this playlist got me through numerous long study nights.

8tracks radio | Audio Adderall (28 songs) | free study and electronic music playlist

Use Spotify or Pandora and do like a 90's station.

"Be passionate and bold. Always keep learning. You stop doing useful things if you don't learn. So the last part to me is the key, especially if you have had some initial success. It becomes even more critical that you have the learning 'bit' always switched on."

Bach fugues on harpsichord. You'll even feel smarter.
