But he did have one of the coolest names in College Sports, so he's got that going for him...

    Poor Waye Terry.

I'll always remember chanting for Chris Love to get on the field during the 2003 meltdown. "Love Is All You Need!"

This seems like a good place for this. Dropped it on WRNL a couple days ago, and couldn't figure out what to do with it here.

The "resting" temperature of human testicles is 95 degrees. So when it is that hot outside, it is literally hot as balls.

    You are welcome.

Sam made them look easy because they are easy for competent QBs. I remember being amazed at how many check downs and screens he completed, then thinking holy **** he is throwing the ball 3 yards, why am I so impressed. The answer is that I was used to looking at Steele scramble for 19 yards to the sideline before launching it 30 yards into the stands and JB would just dig out a divot a yard in front of the receiver.

We were jaded by relativity guys.

How about another Steele Jantz positive memory?

    (Skip to 2:43. 4th and 10, 4:30 left in the 4th, UNI up 13-7)

Probably the best pass of his ISU career - at just the right time.

How mad would you be if you're a Penn State fan that lives in Sandusky, Ohio?

Re: Would Steele Jantz start this year if he had eligibility left?

Sam Richardson is a much better QB right now than Steele and JB were or will be. I really wish Steele would have continued to play like he did against Iowa, or Baylor. He had alot of potential, and honestly if we brought Steele in as a freshman I really think he could have been great as a senior. Four years of D1 coaching would have been good for him.

To be fair, I heard that SJ was helped by the loud scoreboard hurting the Hawks' ears. That is what put us over the top.

Thanks for posting that...nice to see it again.

    No Way in Hell

The sky is the limit. We are trying to win every game. We are going to try to get to that big stage, the Final Four, and play on. Morris (May 2014)
“If you take a look at this group, we’re extremely talented 1-15. We have a lot of talented guys in this locker room — all guys who are willing to put their agendas aside to win. That separates good teams from great teams.” Niang (Oct 2014)

Re: Would Steele Jantz start this year if he had eligibility left?

You know what sucks? This thread... steele jantz wasn't seneca wallace, or even bret meyer or austen arnaud but some of the most incredible football plays I've ever seen in my life were manufactured by steele, and some pretty ridiculously boneheaded ones as well but he was a cyclone... he played his *** off for this school and I'll always hold a high regard for him.... plus he was 2-0 vs iowa, enough said...
