KU beats Tech, but Tech beats ISU, then ISU beats KU? Something doesn't seem right here.

Football games don't always tend to follow the transitive property like they should, they're jerks like that.

Looking at the schedule like this, I realize how critical the Iowa & K State games are and both with have less than 3pt spreads.

TT over OSU seems like a very bold pick even if it is in Lubbock.

A man has to pick an upset every now and then you know? Going chalk game-by-game is no fun for anyone!

To be honest, I think TTU is better than where I have them. But somebody has to win/lose every game right?

    Re: Game-by-game, team-by-team predictions for 2013

I can get onboard with TCU and OSU at the top of the league; I just don’t think Texas will be there. I think Texas falls to 3rd or in some kind of a manajatwa tie with Baylor and OU for 3rd/4th/5th. Ash is the most experienced QB but I'm not all that impressed by him. That program seems to be teetering on the brink of firing Mr Brown. I could see them losing to OU (neutral), @ TCU, OSU & @ Baylor.

I think KU is still in the basement but I can see them breaking the B12 streak against WVU at home.

I would pick Ia State over TT. I am looking at TT- KS- WV as the bottom of the league Okie St -TX- Ok at the top and TCU- Baylor Ia State- K-State in the middle.

Preseason spreads don't mean much. Until the UNI game is finished we know nothing about the team at all and until the Tulsa game we won't know a whole lot.

KU has to prove themselves before I would ever predict them finishing anywhere other than 10th.

I actually don't think your picks are too bad at all. As we get closer to the season starting, I think TCU looks better and better. If Paschall starts and can come back to regular form, I think TCU will roll and maybe only lose one or two at the most. I agree that there is a lot of uncertainty with Texas to where I think they could win the Big 12 or finish as low as 6th. I don't think OSU will lose 3 games, but I could see them losing to TCU and UT. It is really hard for me to imagine Baylor finishing better than OU and even Baylor beating OU this year. That is probably because I respect OU a lot more and I hardly have any respect for Baylor. I am really unsure how well TT will fare this year. I could see them at the bottom or somewhere in the middle.

It is pretty easy to sit in front of my computer and pick apart your analysis, but that is about all we can do for the next 30 days.

    32 days, 3 hours, and 9 minutes.

    But who's counting?
