At least now we have an explanation for setting the all-time low temperature record here in Chicago. 65 degrees in July is complete horse-****.

I was wondering what that was the other day when I turned my BlueBlockers toward the sun and took a gander.

Probably just another marketing gimmick from eiu gone wrong. Nothing to worry about. NASA can cover it up with something like a batman logo.

    Re: Hole in Sun

What does this have to do with climate change exactly? I thought I read that this event happened back in May. Surely this explains nothing of the current cold snap.

It doesn't. Everyone is just having some fun. Maybe the CyWX guys can give better details (or correct me completely) but what I've read says that the jet stream has some interesting twists in it over North America this year, which is what explains the cold snap.

According to what I just read at that link, this is just normal in the Sun's 11 year cycle. No reason not to make this more than it is though, I mean that's what the media's job is now, right?

    Re: Hole in Sun

Has Al Gore or any "climate change" scientists come up with a reason why human activity caused this hole? I'll turn off another light bulb if I did it.
