All the rest meaning android OS? Apple is losing majorly to android and has been for a couple years now.

    Re: Nexus 7

I have the previous Nexus 7, and it's a great product in itself, the new one is even better. Apple will probably continue to sell more iPads, but this is really a better product than the iPad mini. Android and it's app quality have come a long way over the past few years

    Re: Nexus 7

I have a Nexus 7 and an Ipad. I use the Ipad at home more because it's got a big screen. I use the Nexus 7 more on the road because it's more portable. I actually prefer using the Nexus 7 and how it allows me to customize. Both are good.

The first nexus 7 had plenty of sales..

If anything the sales are looking just like they did when the iphone had dominance and android phones came along- at first their sales numbers were smaller but they eventually topped apple. and now android will likely take the tablet market too.

It's hard to describe what Apple is doing as "losing". They don't have as large of market share because they don't want their great OS going on some crap hardware. I'll take quality over quantity any day.

I wouldnt qualify the major android hardware as 'crap hardware'

Yes, Mr. Larson, but a snob is a snob and that will not change. Some people's ego triumphs over their lack of knowledge on a regular basis.

    Re: Nexus 7

Read a story yesterday that the Nexus 7 is actually getting most of its sales from those trading in the prior version. Almost zero crossover from those already using an ipad.

Id wager you'd see a lot of that in early sales of ipads too. Those who buy on day 1 are the fanatics.

This is wrong on so any levels. I may somewhat agree that they have an ok OS but their hardware is at least 2 years behind in the phone as well as the tablet world. I own apple products and stock but thee fanboys are sometimes blinded.

2 years may be a bit of a exaggeration but they are usually 6-12 months behind the curve. I am sure the next Iphone that comes out this year will have specs similar to the HTC One and the S4 that came out last spring.

Here's a story that really describes a huge difference in ipad versus android...and it's written by an android user.

Having the ability to integrate the os with the hardware as they do means they don't need to have the higher specs to perform well, for the most part.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.
