    Clyburn signs in Germany

Eurocup Basketball, Teams, Scores, Stats, News, Standings - EUROBASKET

Ratiopharm Ulm (BBL) signed 23-year old American forward Will Clyburn (201-95kg-90). He just graduated from Iowa State University (NCAA). In 35 games he had 14.9ppg, 6.8rpg and 2.1apg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very impressive season as he was voted All-Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, named to USBWA All-District VI 1st Team and named to All-Big 12 2nd Team.
As mentioned above Clyburn is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro.

What is this Gernamny place you speak of?

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

I have no doubt that the OP knows how to spell Germany. Probably a auto-correct mishap on his phone. Happens to me about 80% of the time.

Was hopefull that he would sign with an NBA club. I think Diante Garrett has the best chance to sign with a team out of the lot of them...

Surprised Will didn't get an NBA opportunity this year, I assume next year he will. Diante will make the Suns roster again. Now to see where Babb ends up and if Tyrus can come back from injury.

He will probably bring in more money in Europe but I am surprised that an NBA team didn't pick him up....

Great news for him! Hopefully he makes it big over there and signs with an NBA team someday!

Any news on Lucious, McGee, and Babb?

This is a Great Thing for Will

Will isn't teady for the NBA. Playing overseas provides Will with the best chance to develop consistency to his game and get stronger. In the NBA he would have received minor minutes. Overseas he'll get a chance to start.

I think you missed a joke there....The title was probably a typo as I've no idea why a phone would autocorrect Germany to Gernamny. Either way, congrats to Will! Hopefully he can work his way up the food chain abroad and get a chance in the NBA at some point.

Eurocup Basketball - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
More info on the league here. Very interesting, teams move up and down depending on results. A Eurocup team becomes a Euroleague team if they win. There are also other contract obligations team must hold to compete like stadium capacity and such. Eurocup only requires gyms capacity to be 3000 people.
