    Hornacek impresses in Summer League

Nice little article about how he impressed his players as a coach. I hope he will be a good one.

-Be kind. That is something you will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old "I wish I was not good to that person".

“His demeanor has been what I really like about him,” Goodwin said. “A lot of guys feel like they have to be so intense to get the most out of guys. That’s just not the case…He doesn’t force or put too much pressure to do something. He tells you what he wants you to do and then he expects you to go out there and do it. I really like that about him. He’s a direct coach.”

Yes, it does. Too many people think that leadership is about yelling and getting emotional. I suppose it can sometimes happen that way, but mostly it is about consistency and mutual respect, and making sure your people know what is expected of them.
