    Re: Updated Depth Chart

That's a lot of "or" at running back. Also Justin Coleman listed above West and Gary. And Rogers as the other starting corner.

    Re: Updated Depth Chart

    A few things I noticed:

Stokes moved to FS from CB
Rodgers is listed as starting CB
Meeks is listed as #2 Sam linebacker
Irving listed as # 3 right DE

Yeah, Rogers starting at CB is very notable.

If I read that depth chart correctly it has Coleman above J West and Gary?

Things that jumped out at me.

    Morrissey jumping Irving
    Rogers starting at RCB

    Re: Updated Depth Chart

Irving hadn't been able to practice due to his surgery, so it's understandable that they would not have him any higher than he is.

Or Morrissey is just better? I think watching film of last season, Morrissey might actually be better at getting to the QB. I'm not saying he will still be the starter come game one, but he's at least right there with Irving IMO.

Excited to see Rogers listed as a starter too.

If Knott somehow beat out Miller, we'd probably have the smallest LB corps ever. We'd go 210 lbs, 219 lbs, and 216 lbs as our starting LB's. At that size, they had better be REALLY fast and athletic at least.

LT bothers me a bit as well. That will be Richardson's blindside protection. We have Dagel as the starter, and he doesn't have much experience at all. And backing him up is a RS Freshman in Dunning. I've heard Dagel is a stud though, so hopefully that is the case.

Also excited for Coleman too. Seems like he's always making plays in practices and in the spring game, but he doesn't have all the accolades that Jarvis West and Albert Gary do, so he gets passed by. Well, the coaches might have finally just figured that he makes tons of plays because he's just pretty darn good.

And finally, I still cannot believe our RB situation. I know you can never have too many, but we need to figure out how to get all these guys involved somehow IMO, or RS someone. I think Shontrelle and Wimberly might be the only candidates for a RS though, right? I just don't see how someone like Standard sees the field unless Woody gets hurt or something? I think Standard could play the Woody role if something were to happen to Woody. It's a good problem to have as long as they are all happy. James White is on the list for the Doak Walker award, and it's conceivable he might be our 4th most talented RB behind Shontrelle, Wimberly, and Nealy. Wow. Gotta figure out how to use these guys to our advantage.

    Re: Updated Depth Chart

When did Lalk move to guard? Thought he was a tackle. That's a tall guard. Then again Rhoads has used tall guards a lot for us with Lichtenberg, Gannon, ect.

Coleman and Ecby starting is a surprise to me. I would've figured J West or Gary were guaranteed that slot spot.

Good to see Q West as the backup outside receiver behind Ecby.

Coleman is the kicking holder at the moment.

Irving behind Morrissey sure is a contrast of play styles/athletic gifts and results.

Rogers starting is big. Would be awesome if he played well and locked that spot down for a few years.

After James White, they are all equal right now. That is why there is a "OR" between all of their names on the list.

Wish Seeley and White weren't both MLB. i think they are too good to be buried behind JG. i know i haven't,really seen either, but i love their size.

    Re: Updated Depth Chart

    Coleman a surprise at receiver.

    Morrissey kind of a surprise.

Hopefully they can find a way to redshirt Meeks. I always thought Seeley was an outside linebacker and could be the backup for that spot if ready.

Pleasantly surprised about Charles Rogers. He wouldn't be listed there if he wasn't ready though.

"Or" is common. I expect to see a decent about of changes by game day. To many unknowns for there not to be major changes.

I think Nealy and Wimberly should be 1 & 2 or 2&3 if we absolutely must have White start.
