Considering GRRM has direct say in how the TV show is portrayed, this will never happen. HBO wanted to change it such that Ned Stark survives. GRRM threatened to take the show to Showtime because of this.

Not spoiling anything, but they just killed off the only interesting dornish character. Seriously, all the rest totally suck.

How about Arya (sp?) laughing her *** off about her aunt being dead. I think that creeped out the guards even.

I love character of Tryion so it will be interesting. My question is Arya and Sansa going to meet up now? Also I am reading the third book "Storm of Swords." So the show is a little ahead of where I am reading.

Well, once again GoT manages to somehow surprise me again. The Red Viper getting killed was something I thought could happen but didn't think it would since he's such a cocky, colorful character. Just the kind G.R.R like to kill off I guess. I wasn't Red Wedding shocked, but I was mildly shocked the fight ended as it did.

If both combatants die, isn't that a draw, or hung jury type of situation? The Imp should have his freedom! I have no idea how he's going to get out of this pickle, but I bet it involves Jaime.

In true G.R.R. fashion, the Hound and Arya will turn away from the gates and never know Sansa is there.

Loved her reaction there, she is just giving up on anything going her way ever.

The Mountain wasn't dead though. At least not when the Viper died.

I don't think the Viper is quite dead yet, merely a flesh wound.

I even knew the outcome of the fight and I was caught off guard by the brutality of it. Crazy awesome.

The thing is, all the best scenes are directly from the books so you don't want this. And I am far from someone who expects them to follow exactly, I've liked most changes.

I assume since the red viper died first, Tyrion is a dead man in the eyes of the law (Or at least Tywin's law). Hopefully Jaime continues to use his redemptive qualities and help Tyrion avoid losing his head. Not sure what the future would hold for him though since he will have no power (Influence, money or strength).

I could see that. Especially since only a couple people know Sansa is actually Sansa. I assume Arya, not knowing if anyone in her family still lives, will venture for bravos to seek out the faceless man. At least I hope so.

I have not read the books but if you have a show that deviates completely from the books, then can you really call it the same name? What would be the point. Hollywood never improves on a story, only ruins it with too much input.
