Texas Tech's radio station predictions for next season

Thought this was funny. The good guys predicted to finish 9th with TCU above us and Tech predicted to finish 6th

I always enjoy write-ups that focus on what teams lose, as though we brought in nobody to replace them.

Re: Texas Tech's radio station predictions for next season

With Chris Babb and Korie Lucious gone, Iowa State loses senior leadership, it's best defender and arguably the best scorer they've ever had.
    ... Really?

and don't say he meant Clyburn because this follows.
The Cyclones also lose the Big 12 Newcomer of the year in Will Clyburn
Just leave them alone and let them speculate with no basis.

Lol, I didn't really get why that was funny until I opened the article and started reading. They were actually talking about our Basketball team finishing 10th this year. Ha ha. I'm not reading the rest.

That's different, though, because it's us or something.

They actually had OU at 10.
    ISU was picked at 9.

I don't even want to guess how many conference/non-Tech games this guy watched last year. I'm putting the over-under at 5.

I comprehended it to be Oklahoma in 10th, ISU was in 9th.

They don't really understand basketball down there, don't fault their idiocy. This may be the most laughable projection I have ever read. Seriously. My wife would do better.

    That gives me an idea.

Re: Texas Tech's radio station predictions for next season

Wait, I thought this was football predictions based on where they ranked us.. Then I looked again and it was for MBB.... then I LMFAO. People in TT actually still pay attention to basketball after Bob Knight left? And even then, support was weak.

That's why I posted this. It's the off season and I'm bored at work going through other teams forums. Most think of us around 3rd or 4th but evidently tech radio station has different thoughts

I can't decide which of these is the nuttiest? ISU 9th, Tech 6th, or WVU 4th.

I would say us finishing 9th. Tech could finish 6th and I am not writing WVU off as much as everyone else this year... 4th? no... but I could see a 5th... It's gonna be the top 4 then a big gap to 5-10.

    My teams: (as of 6/15/14)
    Cleveland Browns: 4-12 - .250
    Cleveland Indians: 34-35 - .493
    Cleveland Cavs: 33-49 - .402
    Iowa State Cyclones (FB): 3-9 - .250
    Iowa State Cyclones (BB): 28-8 - .778

Re: Texas Tech's radio station predictions for next season

I posted a thread on March 16th, before any teams really made any offseason moves.

    Here's what I had:

    1. Kansas State
    2. Kansas
    3. Okie State
    4. Iowa State
    5. Texas
    6. WVU
    7. Baylor
    8. Tech
    9. Oklahoma
    10. TCU

Keep in mind, BEFORE offseason moves occurred. I don't think K-State wins it anymore, but I'm still pretty confident in this and think it's more accurate than Tech's WITH offseason moves occurring.

IF I could change it, K-State and Okie State would swap spots.

It's funny because Tech is easily the worst team going into next year and they have them 6th? Seems pretty delusional.
