    Maybe not, but your logic isn't sound either.

    Last decade, OU rattled off 5-6 straight wins and then Texas ended it by winning 45-12 and then going on a run themselves. Texas will be better next season and OU will be worse. 50/50 game at this point.

    I agree that Texas will be better and OU will be worse, but not enough to make up for 42 points. I have Texas finishing tied for 4th in conference at 9-3, and OU finishing tired for 2nd at 10-2, so this game could obviously swing that. I just can't and won't predict Texas to win that game at this point.

    Key games;

    Ole Miss

    vs. OU
    OSU

    Thoughts? Tell me in detail which games UT loses and why.
    I have no faith in Mack Brown. They will get smoked in more than just the OU game.

    I'm not convinced those stats mean that much where the UT/OU rivalry is concerned. Look at the UI/ISU rivalry, Paul's first two seasons UI beat us like a ****ing drum.

    Fair enough. I agree that Mack Brown is probably the most underachieving coach (beside Charlie Weis) in the B12, but it's relative. There's just so much talent at UT...

    It just seems to me that UT is due vs. KSU & OU, get's a bye before TCU and gets OSU at home. I'd be pretty optimistic with that schedule if I were a Longhorns fan.

    Its a good point, but you're kind of comparing apples to oranges with the two rivalries. Mack Brown is a veteran coach of the richest team in the NCAA, and has gotten beyond stomped the last 2 season.

    Yeah... no chance. Texas blows.

    No way Texas runs the table. Now OSU. that could happen.
    My prediction for the title game. Ohio State and Oregon.
