    Driveway Re-Pour

I need to have my driveway torn out and replaced, approx 600 sq/ft. One bid the neighbor got was $3,600. Neighbor goes to church with the contractor never seen work. Outside of the potential craftsmanship issues, thoughts on the price?

deal with it a lot. Go look at his last 2 jobs and one 3 years old. Talk to the customers. Otherwise his price is not bad for the city. I think it could be closer to 3000, but I don't know how far he has to take the debris either.

    Re: Driveway Re-Pour

$6 a sq/ft is pretty cheap... I'd be concerned with installation if it were me. Most good concrete contractors are in the $8-$12 a sq/ft range including removal of the old driveway. Stamped concrete being $12-15 sq/ft.

    Re: Driveway Re-Pour

Sounds pricey to me unless the cost of concrete has gone up significantly since 2009. Not sure who to recommend on that side of the state.

You are only likely looking at 7-8 yards @ $80-$100 per. I would think the job could be hired out at around $2500
