I'd say about 80 minutes minimum, the ball is in play.

Quality over quantity, most (99%) of baseball plays are boring as hell.

Begun the baseball-soccer war has. A little late this year but, like everything else this summer, I blame it on the drought.

The MLB network is the only way I can watch baseball on tv. MLB Tonight is what it is called I think. It's similar to NFL's Red Zone. Short recaps of innings, scoring plays from every game.

I don't bring my own opinions, just attack others.

    Time bt batters: 33:39
    Time bt innings: 42:41

"....What's the bottom line? When we compare total action to total down time—even including debatable action such as pitches, trots and pickoff throws—total action time is 17:58. I like going to an occasional MLB game. Liked the old Miller Park in milwaukee......college-type tailgating.

Also been to the new Miller Park. Not a lot connection to the actual game of baseball. In addition to the "down" time, if you sit in the corporate seats below near the dugouts, you're dealing with grandparents with their spoiled grandkid who don't give a flying fu- about the actual game..

These families fidget ad nauseum , buying concessions constantly, kids running round. The park has all these amenities...and these people watch about 10 minutes of the actual game.....annoying as h#ll
