I agree, but I tip my hat to the packers with a specific finger, so I don't feel so dirty.

So...Pujols is looking like a steroids user. How much does that diminish the last two World Series titles from the Cardinals? IMO, they don't even make the playoffs in 2006 (or whenever that title was) if Pujols wasn't juicing like a fiend.

Now, lots of guys become big-time power hitters that don't break down until a sudden physical collapse.......

I wouldn't be surprised if the plug and play thing the Cards have going is less than legitimate.

No one would accuse a Cubs player of performance enhancing drugs.

Other than Sammy Sosa, that is. That dude juiced more than a Minute Maid factory.

I don't really believe the Pujols stuff. Jack Clark just started a radio show this week, he just did it for ratings.

Sosa was just trying to keep up with McGwire...

In all seriousness though, if we are going to point to the legitimacy of the Cards World Series, you need to look at all World Series from the past 15 years, IMO. Yankees in '09 is definitely up for discussion, as is Red Sox in 2004.

I will never fully understand how the roids took away Sammy's ability to speak English.

But that guy wasn't clean. No excuses. He's just an obvious one.

Let's try to stay on subject with Cards/Cubs trash talk.

I have no inside information on Pujols. I just saw a guy with a giant head and premature baldness indicative of high testosterone. And now I see a guy breaking down in a hurry while at the tail end of his prime.

You can take all of Sammy's Silver Sluggers away, but that doesn't compare to the Cards winning WCs due to a juiced up Pujols, a bionic Carpenter, and a bunch of roided-up rookies.

Bunch of roided up rookies? Really? Wo would they be? We had 0 rookies in the starting lineup... Wainwright was the only rookie had a major impact and he obviously isn't on steroids. Not sure if you were being serious or not. If you were I am not even going to waste my time arguing.

Remember that time the Cubs started their 12th string pitcher against the self-named greatest in America St. Louis Cardinals, and shut em down?

Oh wait, it's happening right now.

I'm gonna rest my case considering you didn't take offense to the Carpenter or Pujols allegations.

And about the rookies, I really don't care enough to know if these no-name guys hitting the **** out of the ball for the Cards are rookies or not. If they aren't rookies, it just makes the case stronger.

I wouldn't say Wainwright is obviously not on roids. Pitchers seem to take roids more then hitters (as it gives them faster recovery). There have been quite a few pitchers who have tested positive that has been surprising.
