    I saved enough by switching to pay for CyclonesTV a few times over (under the screw your long term customers plan)

    Do you guys get blacked out by rain and snow a lot? I had direct 4 years ago and it sucked during bad weather. Also does the fox midwest channel get a bunch more football gameso

    I have had Mediacom since forever and have probably watched channel 22 maybe a handful of times.

    my directv goes out in the storms but not enough to make me want to switch. if mediacom had FSN north i would have stuck with it but they refused to get it so i switched.

    i don't mean to be that guy, but this has been talked over to death. Most think Direct is the best, there are some Dish fanboys, but most of CF hates mediacom.

    I just got mine back, and that is still an issue. I think if you have a strong signal, it will happen less. When I had it last time, it seemed worst when the rain first started.

    Probably in the running for most discussed topic on CF, right behind white helmets and people leaving games early.

    We had it for about 3 years and that almost never became a problem.
    When the apartment provided Mediacom in the rent, we made the switch, since free is good. We've had more troubles since that than before, but still not many.

    In short: no, the weather won't be a problem.

    Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
    Make this one for the ages!

    Re: direct tv vs. Mediacom

    Mediacom = dating 300 lbs girls

    Directtv = dating Kate Upton

    If you need isu, go to the event, watch online, go to a friends house or go to a local bar and watch it.
