What is the maximum amount of money you're willing to bet on Iowa? I feel like some easy money.

Maybe you have Michigan and Iowa confused?

Higher RPI, NIT team and didn't get killed by Baylor but should have said equal to Iowa to be fair. Weird you respond to that statement but ignore facts on why other teams were better than your favorite NIT team...

I'll take NIT semifinal teams who DIDN'T get completely blown out by Baylor for 400 Alex.

I'm guessing just about anyone who watched this amazing NIT tournament business you rave about would have definitely thought BYU was better than Iowa, not to mention a higher RPI.

I listed off why Illinois and Minnesota were better than Iowa. Teams they had beaten, higher RPI, and the fact a committee said they were better. Don't see how you can argue against that and expect people to take you seriously.

Easy. Iowa was 2-1 against them and finished higher in the standings.

Why did the selection committee and everyone else who knows college basketball disagree with you then?

    Re: Iowa @ Iowa State

I'm excited about ISU's team, but if I were an Iowa fan, I would be hopeful as well. There's a lot of room for improvement in Marble and Woodbury, and Clemmons and Gesell should be solid, although not particularly dynamic. Uthoff is probably a solid B1G player (although he also sounds like the 2nd coming of Alex Thompson), but if I were an Iowa fan, I would rather have that potential in the backcourt than the frontcourt.

findlay doesn't matter, Naz Long came from Findlay so I'm guessing Fred knows the staff well.

RV recruitment will likely wrap up the last week it can. He loves attention and seems like a guy that will drag his commitment out. Hopefully if ISU is out, he'll tell ISU instead of dragging it on so Fred doesn't miss other targets.

Him going to Kansas would suck. Go to the east coast if not ISU.

Not worried about stringing Fred along, he will fill the class and if Vaughn picks ISU, Fred will make room.
