Great to hear. Hope the team chemistry is there. We need Ejim and Niang to be good floor generals.

Great, now you've gone and done it. Getting my expectations all high -- Kool aid high!

That's you're own fault for letting them slide!

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

I thought for sure he would have negative things to say.

I was impressed with Nader as well. Wish he could play this year. Wonder why Chris didn't ask Georges about Kane? He's obviously a newcomer, too.

Well to be honest, I was going to. I didn't get to the JUCO's either because you can hear towards the tail end of the interview the PA announcer say that the previous game had ended. Well I interviewed Georges before his game and he still needed to change and warm up so I ended it then. Didn't want him to be late.

I am always amazed to hear him talk, and realize how young he is. Crazy

    Re: CFTV: Niang talks newcomers

I too was pleasantly surprised with Nader's build, Chris. And I was thinking the other day he has (in the short clips I've watched) some resemblance to Royce and his game...

he was listed at 225 on NIU's website last season. He definitely looks bigger than 225 - I'd say 235. I don't imagine he's going to get pushed around. With he and Georges' continued training, I expect they'll be a crazy tough, skilled post-combo in '14-'15. I'm sure CFH is already drawing up ways to attack with the two.

Instead of the M&M boys, we'll have the N&N boys..Niang/Nader. That's sweeter than candy....

    Re: CFTV: Niang talks newcomers

I like the team spirit that Niang always seems to express. Seems like he has his head on straight, enjoys the game, and can honestly praise his teammates. On and off the floor, he makes others better, and thus makes the team better. He could go down in ISU history as a true fan favorite.
