    4th of July weekend stories

Considering a lot of people got a 4 day weekend (sorry if you didn't), I'm guessing there's some good stories out there, let's hear 'em.

I really don't have much, but I'll start...went to see my in-laws on Friday, my brother in law had completely shattered his big toe (while sober ) on Thursday. Honestly, he did a number, he split the middle bone in his big toe into 3 pieces. Drove all over western Minneapolis on Saturday and did nothing other than eat at the Herkimer for dinner.

Again, nothing much, just starting it off.

My friends and I were at the bars yesterday, and this girl was infatuated with my friends t-shirt and tried for about 15 minutes to convince my friend to give her his shirt and walk around the bar shirtless.

I had a Thursday Sunday weekend unfortunately, but I drank on a roof Thursday night so that was fun.

Thanks for sharing. Everyone who can...please pour a little beer out for our struggling internet acquaintance, Tim Redd.

I mentioned it in another thread, but Thursday morning I was on the patio at a bar in Slater and a cowboy rode up on his horse while drinking a brown bag 40, tied the horse to the fence, and headed into the bar. It was pretty badass.

He doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, it's usually on horseback.

Can you get a DUI on a horse? Like semi-serious question.

Re: 4th of July weekend stories

I realized (again) that excessive day drinking should only be undertaken by those in college or who are conditioned to it. A 12 hour pool party leads to a very rough friday. I think things took a downhill turn when a couple of guys went and bought 10 bottles of cheap champagne because "It'll never be Independence Day 2013 again!!" That and the flip cup relays in the pool was killer.
