    1. A soccer fan has no room to talk. You guys cheer for 90+ minutes, and are satisfied with a 0-0 tie. Yes, that's 90 minutes of kicking a ball back and forth, and not being able to get it into a net.

    2. Sometimes I feel like soccer fans aren't really soccer fans, they are just in the closet WWE fans. What I mean by that is, sure, they cheer for their team (just like WWE fans cheer for The Rock or John Cena) but really, they just wanna see the riot, or in this case, decapitation (just like WWE fans cheer for a chair to hit the opponent)

    1. 90 minutes is a lot less time than 4 hours, and the build up of opportunities is constant action not just waiting there for a pitch or changing fields and warming up again and again. If you don't know the game, you won't like it and yes I know it's not for everyone but I'm not sure what you expected for responses with #soccersucks. USA won 6-0 last night so it's not like every game is 0-0.

    2. This was an amateur match in Brazil, it's not like it was the Barclays or MLS. It is bound to happen in soccer when there soooooo many more fans all over the world. There's a reason 40% of the country takes work off on World Cup game days and it's not in hopes of mayhem.

    3. Golf is way better to watch, at least they can switch to other people who are actually hitting the ball rather than zooming in on the pitchers face for 20 seconds or commercials all the time when changing the field.

Re: This never happens in baseball....

all the people that claim soccer is boring (americans anyways), don't realize europeans have the same feelings for football.

Why use pads, that's stupid. Why do they take long breaks during plays? Why is it called football when you barely kick it?

In fact, soccer has way more action than football if you consider the breaks between plays. Soccer is constant action. Of course, football is a lot more physical which is why Americans like it more than other countries.

You can make the case of "well Brazil and all the little countries are too poor to play football". Actually, some of those countries can afford it, but it will never pass soccer. They think american football is stupid.

Just because a game finishes 0-0 doesn't mean it's boring, sometimes those are the best matches due to it's constant desperation by both clubs to not settle for 1 point.

That was 1899. I'd love to see how many refs have been killed from soccer compared to umps in baseball. Back in 1899, baseball was the best thing to do in America.

Also, since I'm being fair, I'm gonna fix some comments. Baseball games are rarely 4 hours, unless they go into extra innings, in which case, those are the most exciting games. Consider that your "sudden death" in soccer.

On average, an MLB game is 2.5 - 3 hours. So yes, I would rather spend 1 hour AT a baseball game, where the atmosphere is much more AMERICANO than 1 less hour at a soccer game, where people blow horns that they bought for 50 cents at some vendor, and pray to GOD that the fans don't riot and start murdering everyone in site, which is exactly what happens in just about every game outside of the United States.

I'm still trying to decide...it may not even be 1 hour more, considering you guys do injury time and half time.

And I understand, you like soccer, I like baseball. But I'm just telling you exactly how soccer is seen by Americans. Which is the right way.

AMERICANO as in more boring? I'd rather be at an EPL soccer game than an MLB baseball game. Not just because it's another country, but because the atmosphere at one of those games is 10 times better than a baseball game.

Why do you think murders are common in soccer? I'm pretty sure I don't recognize multiple murders after soccer games. The only incidents I can think of wasn't even a murder, Fabrice Muamba, who collapsed on a pitch from a heart problem. Racism is prevalent in parts of Europe, but that's a different story.

Injury time is like at the max 5 minutes for each half, so 10 minutes in rare occasions.

It's not a good debate that MLB atmosphere is better than EPL atmosphere, not even close tbh.

Look, I can point to just as many examples of people from different countries that think american football is stupid, it's mostly an opinion thing, no right answers on the question.

You cheer and sing at EPL soccer games. As a man, I'm not into that stuff.

I would go to Fenway, Wrigley, or Yankee Stadium ANY DAY before I would attend ANY soccer match.

it's not singing, that's like standing in Cyclone Alley and making noise, that's exactly what they are doing but with actually chants.

I'd rather go to a Barcelona/ Real Madrid/ Man United/Arsenal (favorite team, so doesn't count) over a Yankees game (Yankees fan). Difference on opinions.

If the game is a world series game, then i'd go to the baseball game, any other scenario it's obvious where I'd go.
