For a Million dollars would you

Someone offers you a million dollars to be put in a "pen" in the forrest the size of a football field. The pen is full of trees, a creek, rocks ect. Also in the pen is a large adult grizzly bear that is hungry and will try to kill and eat you.

You are given a knife with a 2/inch blade, a .22 pistol with 1 shell, some rope and a bucket. You can wear whatever you want (gloves, boots ect, not body armor, flak jacket ect)

You have to kill the bear or survive 10 days, you get to be in the pen for 24 hours prior to the bears release. would ya do it?

Re: For a Million dollars would you

No way. The likelyhood that you survive is slim.

Grizzly bears can run and climb better than humans. Its not like your safe if you are up in a tree.

A .22 shell is useless, that will just **** him or her off even more.

“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...”

Depends. How much training can we do prior to the event?

A football field isn't that large. You could be out in a minute.

Re: For a Million dollars would you

You would have to find a small place like a cleft in the rock where the grizzly couldn't physically reach you. Get out to get water in the middle of the night, and hope you get lucky. I probably wouldn't do it for 10 million.

.22 can kill a bear. You just need a precise shot, which means close range with a steady hand and balls of steel.

Re: For a Million dollars would you

I'd ignore the gun, and wear a giant hamsterball around me made of something bear proof, with holes in it. Wouldn't be ideal from a waste management standpoint. Also I'd wear a ton of camelbaks.

Re: For a Million dollars would you

This is intriguing to me, I would like to think I could devise some elaborate pit-based bear trap that I could trick the bear into running into while chasing me, but 24 hours is probably not long enough to build one or more of these traps, so I'm probably dead.

Also, how has FOX not pitched this as a reality show yet?
