Long has been just as consistent as the guys mentioned.

Not sure if you did, but it appears that you missed this sentence? "Besides Palo, Long and Niang, freshman
Matt Thomas might be the most consistent players in the YMCA Capital City League this summer."

Did anyone notice the tournament bracket? It looks screwed up to me. The first place team gets a first round bye then faces the winner of the 3/6 game. The second place team also gets a bye then faces the winner of 4/5. If it goes as seeded the 2nd place team has an easier path to the championship than the 1 seed.

Holy balls, Nader looks really cut in that picture. Way more than Clyburn. That's exciting.

Yea Nader is built like a brick. He is way quicker and athletic than I was expecting him to be. I'm really excited about him.

Niang looks like he's more fit as well. Not surprising that in year two, he would transform his body. He appears to be working on his handle as well. Not shocking either.

He's going to be insanely good before it's all said and done with.

Met @DuleNader23 today and interviewed him for a story. Told me he has a 7"2' wing span!

    Nice reach too!!

He seems quicker and slicker on his twisting moves near the basket.

I literally LOL'ed once or twice per game at the buckets he somehow got around the hoop last year.

He has a wiggle jiggle that puts extra momentum on the ball so it goes in the hoop.

Niang is in noticeably better shape. That is great news. He is poised to make a huge jump this season. I expect him to be at the very least 2nd team Big 12.

Fred has himself another dangerous squad.

Re: Notebook: Niang now leads CCL scorers, Nader makes debut

Heard Georges came back slimmed down yet some concern that he actually needed the beef to guard the 5. Looks like he'll have to guard alot of the oversized bigs again. (esp. w/o Amardi) What he gains offensively, and getting up and down the floor, he'll be stuck with the challenge of being physical while guarding the opponents' big men yet stay out of foul trouble. Lot to ask of the guy. C'mon Percy...we need you, too!
