Looks like we didn’t make the top 25 toughest places to play in NCAA 14 which isn't a surprise. Glad to see Kinnick Stadium no where to be found.

Was there a thought we would? We had a better conference road record last year.

Kinnick isn't as intimidating as it used to be. They still fill it up every game and they have good fan support in terms of going to games (yeah they may rip on the team when there down but they still show up, contradictory I know).

We play WVU the same day they play Nebraska, we had a pretty poor turnout (butts in the seats) yet Iowa was full all the way around.

REgardless, I don't think Kinnick is what it used to be, definitely could go back to being a tough place to get a win but the current staff has lost fire in my opinion.

When you're a 7 loss team with no chance at a bowl, and your team punts on 4th and 10 from the opponent's 30, you're bound to have a pretty quiet stadium.

Kinnick can be very intimidating, but there is no stadium in the nation that could have made a difference to last year's team.

I'll give Iowa fans this, they get loud (or they did 2 & 3 years ago) on non 3rd and 4th down situations pretty frequently, which is more than I can say for our fans sometimes. It has been much better the past couple years with some really high atmosphere games, but if I had to pick one difference between the two stadiums (besides press box size) it would be that.

Although that seems to be changing for Iowa as well with less success, because the atmosphere was really flat compared to other games I have been to at Kinnick that were, like I said, the previous two-three years.

Its great that it was nowhere to be found except at the bottom of the article under the title Honorable Mentions. I just wish they would remind me where I can download Real Name NCAA Player Rosters.

Maybe if you're the home team

I am surprised as the owner of the site is a big Hawkeye fan.

No argument here, since Iowa won as many road games as they did home games last year.

    Also, shut up.

I was talking more about the booing your team and throwing stuff at them at halftime when you had 25+ recruits in attendance...

Disagree. I've played there and there are many others I would rank ahead of it.

I don't understand why the need to wait until 3rd/4th down to create noise for the opposing offense to deal with. I wish it was on every single down our defense was on the field.

    It's really not that difficult.

That is glorious. Thought only Nebby did that to their own.
