Kansas football commit is 375 lbs.

Guy at work, who is a Jayhawk fan, was talking about KU's latest commit which got me interested. I don't know much about offensive lineman but 375 seems a little heavy.

Shoot all he has to do is stand there. QB will have more than enough time with the defense having to run around him.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

6'4" 375? I'll bet 100 pounds of that is bad weight that they're going to have to get off him before he can be an effective college football player.

He's being groomed to carry on the Mangino/Weis coaching legacy.

Make him a D-Lineman who just plugs up the middle.

Re: Kansas football commit is 375 lbs.

That's too much weight at that height for him to be an effective player. He'd almost certainly have to be a guard but he'd be so damned slow that linebackers would be making the tackle by the time he got into blocking position.

Generally guys of that size are playing defensive tackle not o-line.
