Add Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer to the transfer list.

    https://twitter.com/jonrothstein/sta...81792475410432

Not speculating that we could be after Wiltjer but he is an intriguing big man with two years of eligibility left. Would have to sit out this up coming season obviously unless he gets a hardship waiver.

I heard he wants to go back northwest (he's from Oregon). So I'd say PAC-12 is where he'll land.

Probably thinking the others will be gone in a year. Yes I know they will bring in more the next year but if a kid gets an offer from Kentucky they don't go there thinking they aren't good enough.

Re: Add Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer to the transfer list.

Obviously will end up at a big school but if there were a big man built for Fred's system, Kyle Wiltjer would be that guy. 6'10", shoots the three well well, moves pretty good for the size.

Not gonna happen, but I'd be tickled to death

Re: Add Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer to the transfer list.

    I know it's just a dream, but...

    Your 2014 Cyclones!
    Morris
    Dorsey-Walker
    Vaughn
    Niang
    Wiltjer

With Thomas as our 6th man.

That would a lineup that would destroy offensively while still having defensive size. All 6 shooters would be 40%+ capable from the arc.

Hoiball would reach the pinnacle. College basketball would only schedule games for ISU since all other basketball would pale in comparison.

Wiltjer is going to focus on strength in his down year. Likely going to come back in the 6'9" 250 range.

Make it happen, Fred! Reality be damned.

Re: Add Kentucky's Kyle Wiltjer to the transfer list.

I've only seen Kentucky play a handful of times over the past two years, but it just seemed like every time he shot it you thought it was going in the basket. It is rare to be that great of a shooter at 6'9. Whoever gets him is getting a hell of a player
